The Stratus Contact Solutions leadership team, headed by Mike Lewis and Dennis Stoutenburgh, offers clients more than 30 years of combined experience in the telecommunications and customer service industries.

But there’s more to Stratus’ management than extensive industry know-how. They’ve also been described as serial entrepreneurs, with more than a dozen ventures under their belts—so you know Mike, Dennis, and the rest of the team understand what it takes to make businesses profitable. They work hard to identify the up-and-coming technologies and processes that make B2Bs and B2Cs competitive.

Mike Lewis

Chairman, Chief Executive Office and Co-Founder

Serial entrepreneur, Mike Lewis has spent the past 25 years forming, financing and profitably managing over a dozen successful startup companies, continually identifying meaningful new trends and emerging opportunities. During the last 15 years, Mike has championed the growth of ILD Corp. from a start up to a leading outsourced service provider to a number of America’s largest companies. Since 2005, his focus has been on social commerce transactions and monetizing social media. Building on the strength and depth of ILD, combined with Mike’s broad experience in management and marketing, he launched Social Strategy1 as a leading enterprise partner assisting companies in building and monitoring the most effective social media and social commerce strategies. Mike is a published author of business marketing book, Social Media Leadership: How to Get Off the Bench and Into the Game which provides a concise, jargon-free explanation of the global phenomena that is transforming the way business in conducted. Mike has been very involved in the Wharton Interactive Media Initiative (WIMI). WIMI served on the premiere research endeavor focused on interactive media’s implications for traditional business models.

Dennis J. Stoutenburgh

President, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder

Dennis has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since May 1997 and as a director since the Company began operations in 1996. Dennis has been involved with 18 successful acquisitions and integrations of various communications companies, during his tenure with the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Dennis was President of the Communications Group of Intellicall, a manufacturer of pay telephone equipment, from 1994 to April 1997. While at Intellicall, Dennis oversaw Intellicall’s launch into the prepaid calling industry and coordinated the sale of its validation services business as well as the purchase of a provider of prepaid calling services in 1995. Prior to his appointment as President of the Communications Group, Dennis served from 1988 to 1994 in various positions at Intellicall, including Group Vice President, Global Network Services; Vice President, Billing Services, Director of Billing Services; and Director of Finance. Prior to 1988, Dennis held various positions on both the audit and the consulting staffs with Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young), concluding his tenure with Ernst & Whinney as Senior Consultant.

Eddie Brooks

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Eddie has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ILD since 2000 and as a director of the Company since 1996. He is a seasoned senior financial executive with a broad set of fiscal expertise, combined with a strong entrepreneurial, customer and sales focus, and a proven track record of organic turnarounds in both emerging and traditional environments. Eddie is a Certified Public Accountant with varied industry experience in US-based call centers, outsourcing, payment processing, enterprise software, and social media companies.

Larry Hill

Senior Vice President

Larry is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company’s contact centers, customer relations, client acquisitions, and technology assets. Larry has played an integral role in all company acquisitions and integrations, and general operations since 1998. Prior to joining the Company, Larry was the I.T. Director at Intellicall, a manufacturer of pay telephone equipment. While at Intellicall, Larry had a variety of roles, which include managing I.T. and operations teams, related to the Communications Group.

Maria Deamer

Director of Operations 

As the Director of Operations, Maria is responsible for client relations and the day-to-day operations of the company’s contact centers. Maria joined Stratus with over 18 years of executive experience in contact centers and sales departments in the news publishing industry. She has a proven track record of boosting efficiency, optimizing strategies and developing volume driven sales and marketing plans. Maria graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.
